Well. Here we are.
I think I might have launched a business. Ive stepped into the unknown, poured my heart into something handmade, cute, and four-legged-friendly… and immediately wondered if I’d just made the worst decision of my adult life.
No big deal! 😅

Starting a business: 10% confidence, 90% questioning every life choice 🐾
Let’s be honest. There is nothing glamorous about starting a small business from your living room — unless you count the stylish dog hair that’s now permanently part of your aesthetic. You worry if people will take you seriously. You imagine your old coworkers scrolling past your post thinking, “Wait, she’s selling bow ties for dogs now?” And yep, sometimes you wonder if you’ve completely lost the plot.
But here’s the truth: if it brings you joy, it’s worth chasing.
Brave looks different on everyone
To all the small business owners out there — the craft market pros, the Etsy dreamers, the packaging at midnight people — I see you. I admire you. You show up every day to share something you love with the world, and you do it even when no one’s clapping yet.
You’re doing something brave. Brave doesn’t have to be loud. Sometimes it’s just quietly choosing to keep going.
For me, it started with a bandana…
One day I made my first dog bandana for my fur baby Rupert. It wasn’t the best but the idea was there. Then a couple years later and a lot of sewing practice I made my first Dog bow. I had no pattern just an idea in my head of what I wanted it to look like and trial and error. Once I had it I made about 17 more…. I got way too excited and decided I had no choice but to make this a thing. With Bens encouragement and support throughout I booked my first craft show and it went kinda well. Which lead to a website and social media, I’ve even recently made a TikTok account 😂. Still Every time I hit “publish” I immediately want to hide under a blanket for a week.
But here we are.
